Solution :-

Let no. of 50p coins = x

Worth of 50p coins in rupees = x × 0.5

As worth of 25p and 50p coins is same,

assuming there are y 25p coins,

y × 0.25 = x × 0.5

y = 2x

So

0.5x+ 0.25× 2x = 50 (:. y = 2x)

x= 50

y = 100.

Here is your answer goes like this

Let,

The 50np coins be X

Worth of 50p coins in rupees = x × 0.5

worth of 25p and 50p coins is Same in this case..... (according to the problem)

assuming there are y 25p coins,

y × 0.25 = x × 0.5

y = 2x

So, we get

0.5x+ 0.25× 2x = 50 (:. y = 2x)

x= 50

y = 100.
