and cost of (60-x) pens is y (60-x)/60 rs

so sp of (60-x) pens is =92% of y(60-x)/60 rs

=23y (60-x)/1500 rs

so sp of x +sp of (60-x)=sp of 60 pens

or [7xy/375]+[23 (60-x)y/1500]=111y/100

or 5xy=285y

or x=57

so he sells 57 pens at profit 12%
