Step-by-step explanation:

km covered= 80 km = 80000 m

time taken=4 h= 240 mins=14400

speed = 80000÷14400=5.55555556m/sec

Given :

  • As per given in the question,A man covered 80 kilometers distance in 4 hours time.

As we know that if distance and time is given then we have to find out the value of speed.So let's find!

Using formula :

\sf\boxed{Speed={\dfrac{Distance}{Time}}}

Denote Distance by 'D' Speed by 'S' and Time by 'T' as given in the question.

Now substitute the values which we are given with...

 \:  \:  \sf \: s =  \frac{d}{t}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: s =  \frac{80}{4}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: s = 20 \:  \frac{km}{hr}

\therefore

Hence, Speed of the man is 20km/hr respectively.

  • Now we are said in the question after getting the value of speed in km/hr then we have to convert km/hr into m/sec.

Since we know that,for converting km/hr into m/sec we use this trick

 \:  \:  \sf \: 20 \frac{km}{hr}  = 20  \times  \frac{5}{18}  \frac{m}{sec}  \\  \\  \:  \sf \:  =  \frac{50}{9}  \frac{m}{sec}

Hence,it is converted and it's value is 50/9 m/sec.
