= 25% to his wife 
and
$\frac{1}{5}$ per daughter (he has two daughters)
= 20% to each
= 40% to daughters in all 
What's left is donated.
Hence, 
property left = {100 - (40 + 25)}%
                    = 35%
  He donated 35% (or $\frac{7}{20}$) of his property to charity.
