a man has rs 34 in the form of 50p and 25p coins.If the number of 25p coins be twice the number of 50p coins,find the number of each coins(50p and 25p)

therefore 2x be no. of 25p coins
total amount is rs34= 3400p
50x + 25(2x) = 3400
50x +50x =3400
100x = 3400
x= 34
therefore no of 50p coins = 34
no of 25p coins = 68
