Step-by-step explanation:

money in hand=Rs20000

expense: 20000x20/100 = Rs 4000

Remaining = Rs 16000

Education=16000x40/100=Rs 6400

money expended=Rs 10400

. Amount left with him 20000-10400

= Rs 9600

question:

a man has rupees 20000 he spends 20% of his money and her and 40% of the remaining on the education of children's calculate the amount of money left with him

answer :

total money = 20000 rupees

20% of money which is spend

 \frac{20}{100}  \times 20000 \\  = 4000remaining money

20000 - 4000 = 16000

money spent on education of children's

= 40% of remaining money

 \frac{40}{100}  \times 16000 \\  = 6400

total remaining money

= 16000 + 6400

= 22400

so he has rupees 22400 left with him
