A man has rupees 21 in the form of 50 paise and 25 paise coins if the total number of coins are 52 find the numbers of coins each type​

Let 50p coins =x

25p coins =52-x           (As total coins =52)

ATQ

Amount in 50p coins=50x

Amount in 25p coins =25(52-x)

Therefore

50x  +  25(52-x) = 21(100)

50x   +  1300- 25x=2100

25x = 2100-1300

25x= 800

x  =  800/25

x   = 32

So 50p coins =32

And 25p coins=(52-x)=>   (52-32)  =  20
