A man has rupees 21 in the form of 50 paise and 25 paise coins. If the total number of coins is 52, find the no. of coins of each type.

21 rupees in the form of 50 kaise coins,
so, no. of 50 kaise coins = 21×2= 42

Now, remaining are of the 25 paise coins= 52-42= 10

no of 25 pasie coin = 52- x
amount of pasie 50 = 50x
amount of pasei 25 = 1300 - 25x
50x + 1300-25x = 2100
25x +1300 = 2100
25x = 2100 -1300
25x = 800
x = 32
50 pasei coin = 32
25 pasie coin = 50 - 32 = 18
