➰Let the Number of Hens be 'x'

➰Let the Number of Cows be 'y'


♦According to the given question =>

◾x + y = 48..................(1) [ Since each one has One head ]


◾2x + 4y = 140 [ Since Cows have 4 and hens have 2 feet ]

=> x + 2y = 70.................(2)


➰Solving (1) and (2) by Elimination Method =>
