20×40+1÷2×40×30=800+600=1400
displacement is=50mt

shekharkannojiya5: What distance he has to walk to reach the field?
sumit24394: 110 mt

(a) Distance = 50 + 40 + 20 = 110m

(b) Displacement= (302 + 402)1/2m  = 25001/2 m =50m

Magnitude of the displacement = (302+402)1/2 = (900+1600)1/2 = (2500)1/2 = 50.
