A man has to go from city 'A' to 'B'. He covered 75% of the distance by train and 25% of the distance by bus. The time for which he travelled by train is 4 hours less than that for which he travelled by bus. The length of the train is 120 metres and it can cross a pole in 4 seconds. The speed of the bus is 88 km/hr less than that of the train. Find the distance between city 'A' and 'B'.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two trains meet after x hours. Then, 60x−50x=120⇒10x=120⇒x=12hrs

Distance AB = (Dist. covered by slower train) + (Dist. covered by faster train)

=[(50×12)+(60×12)]km

=600km+720km=1320km

I hope it is kk nd thank u
