a man having 25 paisa . 50 paisa 1 rupee coins in the ratio 6:3:4. if he has a total of rs 91 then find the num of 50 paisa coins

We have been given ratio as 6:3:4

25 paisa = 25/100 = 0.25 rupee

50 paisa = 50/100 = 0.5 rupee

1 rupee will be = 1 rupee

Total sum given = 91 rupees

Now Let we have x coins of denomination 0.25, 0.5 and 1 rupee.

so, 6 (0.25x) + 3 (0.5x) + 4 (x) = 91

1.5x + 1.5x + 4x = 91

7x = 91

x = 91/7

x = 13

Number of 50 paisa coins = 3 x 13 = 39 coins of 50 paise.
