A man hired an auto for 5 km. The fare was 10 for first km and 3 for every subsequent km. He

paid 50, to which the auto driver said that its not the correct amount. The actual fare is

Answer: (i) ₹22

              (ii)Honesty, Kindness, Faithfulness

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) For the first kilometer, the rate is ₹10

So after the first kilometer, remaining = 5 - 1 = 4 km

G.T. rate is ₹3 for every subsequent km

So, for 4 km, cost = 4 x 3 = ₹12

Now total cost = 10 + 12 = ₹22 (BTW that is not somewhat less, that is way less :)

(ii) Honesty

Truthfulness

Sincerity

Faithfulness

Kindness

are some of the values exhibited by the auto driver.

Hope it helps :)
