Let the amount invested at rate of8% = X

Therefore the amount invested at rate of 9% = {10000-x}

Sl =ptr/100=x*1× 8÷100

Sl' =(10000-x)*1*9/100

(10000-x)*1*9/100

Amount from both the intrest =875

THEREFORE ;

(8x/100)+(10000-x)*9/100) =875

Upon equating ; x=2500

. AMOUNT INVESTED AT THE RATE

OF 8 % = 2500

.AMOUNT INVESTED AT THE RATE

OF 9 % = 10000-X

= 7500
