let the total income be x then
15% of x = 15x/100=3x/20
10 % of remaining = 10/100*3x/20
= 3x/200
remaining money for house expense
= 30,600
therefore,
x-3x/20-3x/200 = 30,600
200x-30x-x/200 = 30,600
169x/200 = 30,600
x= 30600 * 200/169
x = 36,213.213
therefore (b) is the answer
