Face value of 1 share =Rs. 100

Market value of 1 share =Rs. (100+100/10×100)

=Rs. (100+10)

=Rs. 110

Investment =Rs. 8,800

Annual dividend =Rs. 1200

(i) Total number of shares =

110/8800

=80 shares

(ii) Dividend percentage per share =

80×100

1200×100

=15%.

Given:

Money invested by man=10400

Rate of one share= Rs 80.

To Find:

Rate of one share?

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Since, total money invested = no. of shares Rate of one share
  •  Put the given values

              10400=no. of shares 80

  • Thus  \textrm{no. of shares}=\frac{10400}{80}

           no. of shares=2210

Hence, number of shares is 2210.
