Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let rate on P1 i.e( principal=Rs.1000) = R

and rate on  P2 i.e( principal=Rs.1500) = R + 2

[ from question we know that rate on principal of 1500 is 2% higher than the rate on principal of 1000]

Time = 3 years

According to question,

Then the Interest ratio is =\frac{1000*3*R}{100} +\frac{1500*3*(R+2)}{100} = 390

Solving the equation,we will get:⇒ 3000R +  4500R+ 9000= 39000

                                                       ⇒   7500R=30000

The rate on the principal of 1000 ⇒   R=4

Now the rate on the principal of 1500 is R+ 2 = 4+2 = 6

Answer:

hey! mate

here is ur answer:::::::::::::

let the man invest rs.1000 at a rate R% p.a

According to the given condition -:

1000×R×3/100 + 1500× (R+2) ×3 /100 = 390

=> 30R + 45R + 90 => 75R = 390 - 90 = 300

=> r= 300/75 => r = 4% p.a

The rate of interest for Rs 1500 = 4% + 2% = 6% p.a <= answer
