Solution:

A’s investment = Rs 25000

B’s investment = Rs 15000

C’s investment = Rs 40000

Therefore, ratio between their investment

= 25000:15000:40000

= 5:3:8

Sum of the ratios = 5+3+8

= 16

Total profit = Rs 14400

Therefore

A’s share = \frac{14400}{16}\times5=Rs.4500 </p><p>16</p><p>14400</p><p>	</p><p> ×5=Rs.4500</p><p></p><p>B’s share = \frac{14400}{16}\times3=Rs.2700 </p><p>16</p><p>14400</p><p>	</p><p> ×3=Rs.2700</p><p></p><p>C’s share = \frac{14400}{16}\times8=Rs.7200 </p><p>16</p><p>14400</p><p>	</p><p> ×8=Rs.7200

Answer:

80% if the profit is 20000 (45000 - 25000 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Invested amount = 25000

Amount with profit = 45000

.'. Profit = 45000 - 25000

             = 20000.

.'. Profit percentage = 20000*100/25000

                                 = 80%
