Expert Answer:
Income on Rs. 104
= 6% of Rs. 10400
= 6/100 x 10400
Income on
Rs 1
= 6 x 10400/100 x 104
= Rs. 6
Income on
Rs. 143
= 10.4% of Rs. 11440
= 104/10 x 100 x 11440
= 104 x 1144/100
Income on Rs 1
= 104 x 1144/100 x 143
= 8 x 104/100
= 832/100
= 8.32
Total income earned by man = Rs. 6 + Rs. 8.32 = Rs. 14.32
