Explanation:

Formula for amount for compound interest => A= P(1+\frac{R}{200})^{2n}

So, amount for the the given case = Rs 25000(1+\frac{12}{200} )^{2}

                                                           = Rs 25000(\frac{212}{200})^{2}

                                                           = Rs  \frac{25000*212*212}{200*200}

                                                           = Rs 28090

C.I. = Rs (28090-25000)

     = Rs 3090
