A man is 10 times older than his grandson. He is also 54 years older than him.find their percent age.

Let the present age of grandson be x year and Same of grandfather is y year.

Now, according to given conditions

y=10x

y=54+x

compare both equation, we get

10x= x+54

9x=54

x=6 years

and y= x+54

y=60 year.

Therefore, present age of grandson is 6 years and that of grandfather is 60 years.
