Let the present age of the grandson be 'x' years.

So, the age of grandfather will be = (10x) years and the grandfather is 54 years older than his grandson.

Now, according to the question.

10x - 54 = x

10x - x = 54

9x = 54

x = 54/9

x = 6

So, the present age of grandson is 6 years and the age of grandfather is

10*6 = 60 years.

Let Present age of grandson be X years.

Present age of man = 10 × ( Present age of his grandson ) = 10X year's.

According to question,

10X = ( X + 54 )

10X - X = 54

9X = 54

X = 54/9

X = 6 years.

Present age of grandson = X = 6 year's.

And,

Present age of man = 10X = 10 × 6 = 60 year's.
