A man is 24 years older than his son in 2 years his age will be twice the age of his son then present age of his son is?

》 let the age of the son is x

》 age of man = 24 + x

in 2 years ,

》 the age of son = x + 2 years

》 the age of man = 26 + x years

according to question,

》 26 + x = 2(x+2)

》 26 + x = 2x +4

》 x - 2x = 4 - 26

》 -x = -22

》 x = 22

$\hence$ the value of x is 22 years

$\therefore$ the age of son = x = 22 years

$\therefore$ the age of man = x + 24

= 22 + 24 years = 46 years
