A man is 24years older than his son. In 2years his age will be twice the age of his son. The present age of his son is?

So, age of the man = x + 24

After two years, age of son will be = x + 2

and age of the man will be = (x + 24) + 2 = x + 26

Now, according to the question,

x + 26 = 2 (x +2)

Hence, the present age of the son is 22 years.
