Suppose,

son's present age is X, so parent's (x+26)

As it's said earlier after 10 years father's age will be theee times higher than son's, so let's do it.

3(x+10)=(x+26+10)

3x+30=x+36

3x-x=36–30

2x=6

X=3

Son's age is 3, So father's is 3+26=29

After 10 years son is 13 and father is 39. So 39 is three times higher than 13.
