A man is 27 years older than his son, and in 10 years from now he will be twice as old as his son. How old each is now?

let son's present age is x and father's age is y
a/c to question ,
y=x+27-----------(1)
again ,
y + 10 =2 (x + 10)
y + 10 = 2x +20
y -2 x = 10 -------(2)
solve equation (1) and (2)
x + 27 -2x =10
x =17
and y =17+ 27=44
hence ,
father's age =44 years
son's age =17 years
a/c to question ,
