Let the age of son be x.
then his fathers age is x+28.
After 10 years.
Fathers age=x+28+10=x+38.
Sons age=x+10.
GIVEN CONDITION
x+38=3(x+10).
x+38=3x+30.
3x-x+30-38=0.
2x-8=0
x-4=0
x=4
. Hence son is 4 and father is x+28=4+28=32
then his fathers age is x+28.
After 10 years.
Fathers age=x+28+10=x+38.
Sons age=x+10.
GIVEN CONDITION
x+38=3(x+10).
x+38=3x+30.
3x-x+30-38=0.

x-4=0
x=4
. Hence son is 4 and father is x+28=4+28=32
