Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of the son be x

Then, according to your question, age of the man is 3x

So, what will be their ages after 15 years?

For the man, it will be 3x + 15, and fir hus son, it will be x + 15.

Now, it is given that the age of man will be twice that of son.

So, 3x + 15 = 2* (x + 15)

So, 3x + 15 = 2x + 30

So, now what is the value of x?

It is 15!!

So, the present age of the son is 15 years, and of the man is 45 years
