Step-by-step explanation:

Present Age:

Man = x

Wife = x-3

Son = x/4

After 3 Years:

Son = (x/4) + 3 = 15

==> (x+12)/4=15

==> x=60–12

==> x=48

Wife’s Present Age =45

2nd Solution :

let Son’s present age =x

After 3 Years Son’s age

x+3=15 ==> x=12

Son’s Present age = 12

Man’s Present age = 4*12 = 48

Wife’s Present age = 48–3 = 45
