Given:

Let present age of son = x

then man/father age will be (x + 30)

Man/father age = (30 + x + 12)

son age = x + 12

solution:

3(x + 12) = (48 + x)

3x - x = 48 - 36

2x = 6

x = 6/2

x = 3

son age is 3 years

man/father age is 30 + x = 33

30 + 3 = 33
