Quiet simple.

So man's present age is 37.

So let the number of years in which his age will be twice the sum of his sons age be x.

In x years, he will be 37+x years old.

In x years , the kids will be 8+x and 3+x years old. Sum of which is 11+2x

So

37+x=2(11+2x)

On solving,

X=5

So in 5 years , the scenario will happen. What is important here is that, we need to know what the question is.only then can we focus on the answer.
