a man is 4 times as old as his son after 12 years he will be twice as old as his son find the age of his son

Here age of father is given and we need to find out the age of the son

So, let present age of son be =X

therefore father’s present age according to the question is six times son’s = 4. X

Now, according to question

In 4 years, father’s age will be 12 years , i.e [father’s age + 4years = 12 ]

=> 4X + 4years= 12

=> 4X = 8

=> X = 2years

Therefore son’s age is 2years
