HEY  GENIUS!!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:-

Let the present age of the son be x years

∴ Father's age = 4x years

Son's age after 16 years = ( x+16 ) years

Father's age after 16 years = ( 4x+16 ) years

But, father's age after 16 years as told in the question = 2(x+16) years

∴ ATQ,

⇒ 4x+16 = 2( x+16 )

⇒ 4x+16 = 2x+32

⇒ 4x-2x = 32-16

⇒ 2x = 16

⇒ x = 16/2

⇒ x = 8

Son's present age = x years = 8 years

Father's present age = 4x years = 4×8 years = 32 years.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU MY DEAR FRIEND...

Answer:

Let the present age of the son be x years.

the present age of his father = 4x years.

after 16 years, Son’s age = (x + 16) and father’s age = (4x + 16) years According to the question:

⇒ 4x + 16 = 2(x + 16)

⇒ 4x + 16 = 2x + 32

⇒ 4x – 2x = 32 – 16

⇒ 2x = 16

⇒ x = 16/2

⇒ x = 8 the present age of the son = 8 years,

And the present age of the father = 4x = 4 x 8 = 32 years.
