x^2 + \frac{7}{2} x^2 = 1325

\frac{4x^2 + 49 x^2}{4}= 1325

53 x^2 = 1325 \times 4

x^2 = \frac{1325 \times 4}{53} = 100

x^2  = \sqrt {100}= 10

The Son's age is 10.

The father's age is \frac{7}{2} \times 10 = 35.
