A man is cycling in a windy place he travels 12 km in against the direction of wind in doing so he took the same time as he took while going 28 km in the direction of the wind if the man is cycling at the rate of 12 km / hour find the speed of the wind hint

let \: speed \: of \: wind = x  \\  \frac{12}{12 - x}  =  \frac{28}{12 + x}  \\ 144 + 12x = 336 - 28x \\ 16x = 192 \\ x =  \frac{192}{16 }  \\ x = 12 \\ therefore \: speed \: of \: wind \:   \\  = 12km \: per \: hour
