The above circle has 360 degrees and each arc (between the lines) is 45

degrees (360/8).

Assume that the man started at point 1.

He goes 45 degrees clockwise and that

means he ends up at point 2.

Then he goes another 180 degrees clockwise and that means he ends up at point 3.

After this he goes 270 degrees anti-clockwise and that means he ends up at point 4.

At point 4 the direction he is facing is between South and West, which is South-West.

Answer:

south west

Step-by-step explanation:

The man firstly faces the direction OA. On moving 45 degree clockwise[Please check carefully always if clockwise or anticlockwise], he faces the direction OB.

Now again he moved 180 degree clockwise, now he will be facing OC. From here he moved 270 degree anticlockwise, Finally he is facing OD, which is South west.
