A man is five times as old as his son. He will be three times as old as his son after 10 years. Find the present ages

Let m= Man's age
Let s= Son's age

m= 5s

Firstly to find age of son;
5s+10=3(s+10)
=>5s+10=3s+30
=>5s-3s=30-10
=>2s=20
$s = \frac{20}{2}$
=>s=10

Therefore Son's age is 10 years.

Man's age=5x10
=50
