Answer:

Man age=30 and his son=6 year

Given:

Man is five times as his son

To find:Their present ages

Solution:-

Let his son ages be x

Then man age be 5x

2 years ago

son's age= x+2

man's age=5x+2

Now according to the question

7(x+2)=5x+2

7x+14=5x+2

14-2=5x-7x

12=-2x

12/2=x

6=x

x=6

--------

His son's age=6 year

Man's age=5x

=5×6

=30 year

Suppose the man's son's present age be x years.

So, the man's present age is 5x years.

After two years:-

Man's age will be=5x+2 years and

His son's age will be=x+2 years

According to the question,

7(x+2)=5x+2

or, 7x+14=5x+2

or, 7x-5x=2-14

or,2x=-12

or,x=-6

which is not possible

So, the son's present age = 6 years

The father's present age is 5×6=30 years
