A man is moving with velocity 25m/s towards a mirror & the mirror is moving with
velocity 50km/h towards the man. How fast is the image moving & in which direction.

Explanation:

First find the relative velocity of man wrt mirror,

which is = man velocity - mirror velocity

= 25*18/5-(-50)---------------(m/s to km/h)

= 90-(-50)

= 140km/hr.

now in this relative velocity frame , if mirror is supposed to be at rest the man is moving towards mirror with the velocity of 90km/h.

Therefore the image is moving with 90km/h towards the mirror
