Let the age of son be x years.
Man's age = 3x
After 15 years,
Son's age= x+15
Man's age=3x+15
3x+15=2(x+15)
3x+15=2x+30
x=15
Son's age= 15 years
Man's age= 3*15=45 years

Let the present age of child be x
Present age of man be 3x
After fifteen years
Age of son=x+15
Age of man=3x+15
It is given that mans age after fifteen years will be twice as old his son
Therefore
=>3x+15=2(x+15)
=>3x+15=2x+30
=>3x-2x=30-15
=>x=15
So present age of son=x=15
Present age of man=3x=3*15
=45
