Answer:

The velocity √40/3

Explanation:

1/2 m v² = 40

1/2 6 v² = 40

3 v² = 40

v² = 40/3

v =√40/3

Therefore, the velocity is √40/3

To Find :-

  • Compute its Velocity with which he is running ?

Solution :-

  • Mass (m) = 6 kg
  • Kinetic energy (K.E) = 40 J

As we know that,

K.E = 1/2 × mv²

Where,

  • Mass of the man = m

  • Velocity of the man = v

  • Kinetic energy of the man = K.E

[ Put the values ]

↪ 40 = 1/2 × 6 × v²

↪ 40 × 2 = 6 × v²

↪ 80 = 6 × v²

↪ v² = 80/6

↪ v² = 13.33

↪ v = ±√13.33

↪ v = -3.65 m/s OR v = 3.65 m/s

[ Note :- Ignoring negative term ]

v = 3.65 m/s

Therefore,

The man is running with the velocity of 3.65 m/s.
