Given that,

Mass of a trolley, m = 6 kg

Kinetic energy of the trolley, K = 40 J

To find,

The velocity of with which he is running.

Solution,

The kinetic energy of an object is given by the formula as follow :

K=\dfrac{1}{2}mv^2

v is velocity

Putting all the values we get :

v=\sqrt{\dfrac{2K}{m}} \\\\v=\sqrt{\dfrac{2\times 40}{6}} \\\\v=3.65\ m/s

So, he is running with a velocity of 3.65 m/s.

Hola ⚘⚘

Given:

  • A man is transporting a trolley of mass 6kg; kinetic energy of the trolley is 40j

Tofind:

  • The velocity of with which he is running

Calculation:

>> KE = ½ mv²

where,

  • KE = Kinetic energy;

  • m = mass;

  • v = velocity.

>> v = √2k/m

>> v = √2*40/6

>> v = 3.65 m/s

He is running with velocity of 3.65m/s.
