Solution :-

since each number need one time to press the key .

so,

→ One digit numbers = 1 to 9 = Total 9 = 9 times .

and,

→ In Two digits numbers key is pressed two times = 10 to 99 = Total 90 = 2 * 90 = 180 times .

and,

→ In three digits numbers key is pressed three times = 100 to 600 = Total 501 = 3 * 501 = 1503 times .

therefore,

→ Total times key of computer is pressed = 9 + 180 + 1503 = 1692 times (Ans.)
