Time required to travel 1 km is 1/10 hr= 60/10 minutes = 6 minutes. Do he actually takes 6+ 5 =11 minutes to complete on km til 4km . So time to complete 4 km is 4*11= 44 minutes .for last one km it will be 6 minutes as time for rest is not to consider after reaching 5 km. So total time is 44+6=50 minutes.

Answer:

50 \: minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

time \: taken \: in \: covering \: 5 \: km

 =  \frac{5}{10}

 =  \frac{1}{2} \: hour

30 \: minutes

That person will take rest for four times.

That person will take rest for four times.∴ Required time

 = (30 \times 4 \times 5) \: minutes

 = 50 \: minutes

Hence, 50 minutes is the answer.
