A man is walking through the woods with his dog. suddenly, a tree limb falls in his path, and he leaps out of the way to avoid it. then the man's dog gets loose, and he ends up chasing it through the woods for a minute or two before he manages to catch it. a) describe the function of the skeletomuscular system in this situation?
b) describe the function of the respiratory system in this situation?
c) describe the function of the endocrine system in this situation?
d) describe the function of the nervous system in this situation?
e) describe one way in which any two of the man's body systems worked together in this situation?

a) His skeletomuscular system moves his bones and body to make him run and jump.

b) His respiratory system increased his breathing rate to give his cells more oxygen.

c) His endocrine system released adrenaline and other hormones to activate chemical changes in his brain, causing him to be more alert.

d) His nervous system carried electrical impulses throughout his body , telling his muscles when to contract and relax.

e) All of these systems interact in various ways. The nervous system tells the endocrine system that something is wrong, the endocrine system tells the respiratory system to speed up, the respiratory system feeds oxygen to the muscles, which the nervous system controls.

i hope this answer helps..

Answer:

a) The bones and muscles in his skeletomuscular system pulled on and supported the man's body for the movement making him bend, run, jump etc.

b) His respiratory system became more active and worked faster thus increasing his breathing rate to acquire more oxygen for the active cellular activity.

c) On receiving the initial shock, his endocrine system released adrenaline and other hormones to activate chemical changes in his brain, causing him to be more alert. Adrenaline increased his heart rate, elevated his blood pressure and boosted energy supplies to combat the situation.

d) On receiving the initial stress, his nervous system already sent electrical impulses throughout his body, indicating his muscles to contract and relax as per the need.

e) All of the body systems we have, interact and coordinate in various ways.

Here, in this case, the CNS or central nervous system sent signals to the endocrine system to become alert that something is wrong, and the endocrine system sends signals to the respiratory system to speed up the cellular activity to meet the increased oxygen and respiratory system feeds oxygen to the muscles, which the nervous system controls.

Explanation:

  • Every individual body system works related to other body systems. The circulatory system is a genuine illustration of how body frameworks connect.
  • This is called the interdependence of body systems.
  • Every one of our body frameworks depends on the others to function admirably.
  • Our respiratory framework depends on our circulatory framework to convey the oxygen it assembles, while the muscles of your heart can't work without the oxygen they get from your lungs.
  • The bones of our skull and spine safeguard our mind and spinal cord, however, our cerebrum directs the place of our bones by controlling our muscles. The circulatory framework furnishes our cerebrum with a steady stockpile of oxygen-rich blood while our mind directs our pulse and circulatory strain.
  • Indeed, even apparently inconsequential body systems are associated. Our skeletal system depends on our urinary framework to eliminate squander delivered by bone cells; consequently, the bones of our skeleton make a structure that safeguards our bladder and other urinary framework organs. Our circulatory framework conveys oxygen-rich blood to our bones. In the meantime, our bones are occupied with making fresh blood cells.
  • Cooperating, these systems keep up with inside strength and equilibrium, also called body homeostasis.
