simply v=d/t,

here uniform speed in one direction (straight line can be considered) .

so, substitute in that formula,

by making distance as a d = v×t .

convert the 45 minutes into hours i,e 45/60 gives 0.75 hrs.

then substitute in formula:-

d= 16×0.75=12 km
