A man left 1/3 his property to his wife ,1/3 to his son and the remaining to his daughter .if the daughter share is 5600 Rs , how much did the man leave ?

let property of man = x

wife's share = x /3

son's share =  x / 3

remaining daughter's share = x - ( x/3 + x/3) = x - 2x/3 = x/3

Given that daughter's share = rs 5600

⇒ x/3 = 5600

x = 5600 × 3 = 16800

hence man's property he left = Rs 16800
