5/20x+11/20x(making their denominator equal)+9000=x

16/20x+9000=x

4/5x+9000=x

x-4/5x=9000

x/5=9000

x=45000

therefore, the total money is rs 45000.

now, money with the mother=25/100*45000

                                                 = 25*450

                                                 =rs 11,250

money with daughter=55/100*45000

                                    =55*450

                                     =rs. 24,750
