As, 20000 * 20%

Charity = 4000

So, remaining is 20000 - 4000= 16000

Now divide equally,

That is 1: 1 ratio

So, 8000: 8000

Charity is given 4000,8000 is received by each son.

Answer:

Rs 2000 should be given to each son

Step-by-step explanation:

Cash left behind=20,000

Cash given to charity=20%

Cash to be divided among two sons=20,000×\frac{20}{100}

                                                       =200X20=4000

The cash should be divided among 2 sons=\frac{4000}{2}=Rs2000

Therefore, Rs 2000 should be given to each son
