A man left his 25% Of his money to his mother, 50% to his daughter and the remaining 10,000 rupees to his brother , how much money did he leave. Find the shares of his mother and daughter.

Solution :

Let has total many : x

amount of has mother : \sf\dfrac{25 x}{100}

amount of has daughter : \sf\dfrac{50 x}{100}

\sf{\blue{According \: to \: question}}

 \implies \sf{x - ( \dfrac{25 x}{100}  +  \dfrac{50 x}{100} ) = 10000} \\  \\   \implies\sf{x -  \dfrac{75 x}{100}  = 10000} \\  \\  \implies\sf{ x - \dfrac{3 x}{4}  =10000} \\  \\  \implies \sf{4x - 3x = 4 \times 10000}  \\  \\  \implies \sf{x = 40000}

Total amount he leave = Rs 40000

the share of has mother = \sf\dfrac{40000 \times 25}{100}

==> 400 x 25

==> 10000

he share has daughter = \sf\dfrac{40000 \times 50}{100}

==> 400 x 50

==> 20000

The shares of his mother Rs 10000 and daughter is Rs 20000
